Head of Sustainability

PT Rea Kaltim Plantations

Lokasi: Kembang Janggut, Kalimantan Timur

Tugas: Konsultasi Lingkungan & Keberlanjutan (Konsultasi & Strategi)

Status: Full time

 

A. Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Group Chief Sustainability Officer in implementing sustainability initiatives by working with both internal and external stakeholders to meet our corporate sustainability goals.

2. Implement and manage the company's sustainability framework and initiatives, collaborating closely with team members and other departments to ensure progress, monitor results, and drive continuous improvement.

3. Oversee departments such as Certification and Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, Environment Management, Community Development, and Smallholder operations to ensure strategic goals are met and progress is reported monthly.

4. Ensure supply chain compliance with industry standards and company policies related to ethical sourcing and human rights.

5. Lead community engagement efforts by strategizing and implementing corporate social responsibility and smallholder programs.

Identify and manage potential sustainability risks related to social, climate, and environmental factors, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

6. Maintain and build positive relationships with all stakeholders, including team members, communities, and partners, to further our sustainability efforts.

7. Encourage teamwork and ensure adherence to sustainability standards, market requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

 

B. Requirements:

1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the palm oil industry, holding a senior or managerial position in sustainability or a related field.

2. Deep knowledge of palm oil sustainability, including principles, best practices, and certification standards like RSPO, ISCC, ISPO, and ISO.

3. Experience with audit processes is essential, and at least 8 to 10 years of experience in leading sustainability initiatives is preferred.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively and foster teamwork.

5. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders across all organizational levels.

6. A strong sense of responsibility and results-driven attitude, with proficient project management skills.

7. Must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
